How much Tax will I pay?
As a worker on a one-year working holiday visa, your tax rate is initially 29%. For every job that you do, you must fill in a tax declaration form. You will need to collect a Group Certificate (statement of earnings) from you employer when you finish working. Everyone working in Australia MUST file a tax return at the end of the financial year (or before you leave the country) - there are fines in place if this is not done.
