- The responsibilities of the
Primary French Teacher are: the provision of a developmentally appropriate child-centred learning environment, the implementation of curriculum programs that are based upon current best practice nationally and internationally, the ability to work with flexibility and creativity to meet the individual needs of all children in the program, the regular reporting to parents of the progress and well being of children in the program, a contribution to the School’s Co-curricular Program which may involve after-School practices and weekend fixtures.
- The programme in these grades has been taught thematically with a strong emphasis upon
French culture and children’s songs, rhymes, games and dances.
- Remuneration will be based on the Non-Government Teachers’ (State) Award according to qualifications and experience.
