Law Solutions is the leading supplier of paralegal staff to legal firms, legal government bodies and legal outsource companies.

Our paralegal division provides many law graduates, lawyers, experienced paralegals, travellers and overseas qualified lawyers the opportunity to gain law firm experience working on large cases.

Our client, a consulting and professional services company, is seeking candidates with a full law degree as well as language skills in FRENCH to translate and subjectively code legal documents for the purpose of legal review. There are positions for law graduates without language skills but preference will be given to those with FRENCH.

You will be translating foreign language documents from FRENCH into English and subjectively coding documents using a litigation support database called Ringtail/Casebook, training will be provided.

If there is a need for weekend work, overtime rates will apply - Sat. double time rates apply after the first 2 hours which are at time and a half. Sunday rates are all day double time.

To be considered for these roles YOU MUST have a law degree as well as FRENCH language skills and be available to work Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm for a minimum of 3 months. This role is to commence on Monday 16th July 2007.

Supporting the Institute’s future strategic plans we invite applications for the position of Lecturer in European Studies (French).

Assisting with developing European Programs, and particularly the continual development of Francophone Studies, you will have the opportunity to impact the research and teaching profile of this area and contribute to UTS’s growing global reputation.

Applicants should have an outstanding track record in research and teaching, relevant to level and opportunity, and fluency in French and, ideally, a good working knowledge of other European or Asian languages.

This role is offered on a continuing basis, and relocation assistance will be provided.

Based close to Central Station UTS is at the hub of the transport network, whilst offering easy access to the City and its facilities. UTS also offers flexible work practices, and a great range of benefits including discounted gym membership, three childcare centres and study support.

Salary range: $67,579 to $80,232 pa plus 17% employer contribution to superannuation. Salary packaging is also offered.
