An abbo walked into the local unemployment office, marched straight up to
the counter and said "G'day mate, I'm lookin' for a job.".
The man behind the counter replied "Your timing is amazing. We've just
got a listing from a very wealthy man who wants a chauffeur for his
daughter. You'll have to drive around in a big black mercedes,
uniform provided.
Because of the long hours of this job meals will also be provided
and once a year you will also be required to escort the young lady on
her overseas holiday. The salary package is $200,000 a year.".

The abbo said "Nah, you're tellin' me bullshit!".
The man behind the counter said "Well you started it!".

Je croyais que le terme 'abbo' était désobligeant...

Yes, I agree, and I think (and hope!) that Australians these days are a lot more respectful towards aborigines than they were, say, 10 years ago, when the term 'abo' was really rather common.

Here's another one.
An aborigine walks into a pub and the guy behind the bar says "what's the matter mate, you lost a thong?"

And the Aborigine smiles and replies "Nah, mate, I found one!"
