Sujet du message : | What NOT to include in a job application |
Back on the subject of job applications, covering letters and resumes, the following funny I came across as a good example of what NOT to write....not sure if they come from acutal real-life examples... 1. I have lurnt Word Perfect 6.0 computor and spreadshit progroms. 2. Received a plague for Salesperson of the Year. 3. Reason for leaving last job: maturity leave. 4. Its best for employers that I not work with people. 5. I was working for my mom until she decided to move. 6. Marital status: single. Unmarried. Unengaged. Uninvolved. No commitments. 7. I have an excellent track record, although I am not a horse. 8. My goal is to be a meteorologist. But since I possess no training in meteorology, I suppose I should try stock brokerage. 9. Note: Please don't misconstrue my 14 jobs as job-hopping. I have never quit a job. 10. The company made me a scapegoat, just like my three previous employers (scapegoat: par exemple, somebody who has to go when there is company trouble and somebody gets picked for it...) Kate |
