Spelling
Beware of heard, a dreadful word
That looks like beard and sounds like bird.
And dead: it's said like bed, not bead;
For goodness' sake, don't call it deed!
Watch out for meat and great and threat.
(They rhyme with suite and straight and debt.)
A moth is not a moth in mother,
Nor both in bother, broth in brother.

Pour info, pour ceux qui ont des difficultés avec lortogafe le Harrap's shorter en cdrom est un outil formidable une fois installé, vous ne pouvez plus vous en passer. Il offre en plus la prononciation de la plupart des mots et les différents dialectes ( dixit le logiciel ) dont l'Australien

English Lesson
An English professor wrote the words, "woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.

The men wrote: "Woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women wrote: "Woman! Without her, man is nothing."

Celle-ci aussi est pas mal : how much wool a woodchuck would if a woodchuck would chuck wool? A dire très rapidement bien sûr!
